Yoga for Wellbeing in the East Riding

Yoga with Elaine Tague

September always seems a time of new beginnings when everything seems possible. Next week , ‘Yoga for Wellbeing’ starts. To coincide with this, we begin a new theme – ‘The elements’.

Starting with Earth, the first week will begin with the feet! Some people don’t even like to show their feet but maybe it is time to show those feet some love. It will repay you. Benefitting knees, hips and lower back (well, it is all connected).

Maybe, your new beginning could be a Yoga Class. Never done it before? Feel a bit too stiff? Got a bit of a problem with a shoulder, hip … ? Excellent, bring them along. Yoga for Wellbeing would be a great place for beginners though you are welcome in any class.

You can try a little flexing and pointing of toes and feet at home, a simple movement that only needs a couple of minutes, and it can provide relief after a busy day

Listen to your body and if any health issues consult a doctor
